Stock Transfer Creation - Edit - Item / Text

When you first create a stock transfer batch, Micronet defaults to item edit mode so you enter item details for the transfer. You can change this to text edit mode so you can enter free text for a transfer.

To select whether to manage items or text for a stock transfer batch:

1. Display the Stock Transfer Creation screen.

Refer to "Stock Transfer Creation - Edit Menu Options".

2. If you want to manage items for the batch, select EDIT | ITEM.

This option is selected by default – see "Entering Stock Transfer Lines" for more information.

3. If you want to manage text for the batch, select EDIT | TEXT.

Now when you choose the Add or Insert buttons on the Stock Transfer Creation screen, Micronet displays the Enter Text screen instead of the Enter Stock Transfer screen. See "Enter Stock Transfer - Text" for information on this screen.

Technical Tip You toggle between the ITEM and TEXT menu options. When you select one, a tick appears next to it and the other option is toggled off.

4. If you want to:

• add an item / text line, select the Add button.
• insert an item / text line, select the line below where you want the line inserted then select the Insert button
• delete an item / text line, select the line then select the Delete button.
• edit an item / text line, double click on the line or select the line then press Enter.

Technical Tip If you select an item line to edit, Micronet displays the Enter Stock Transfer screen even when the TEXT option is toggled on, and vice versa.
